Sofa is a Registered Charity set up in 1981 to provide low cost furniture to people in need with additional benefits of providing work experience and training for people seeking employment. Just as important now is our role in re-use and recycling by making effective use of donated furniture and reducing landfill.

Our mission is to:

• maximise the donation of furniture and electrical goods from the people of Leicestershire
  
• ensure a high level of re-use to those in greatest need
• provide a real work environment for volunteers seeking to improve their life opportunities
